D(takeover)选项从词义和语法上都符合上下文。 [例3],forexample,theneatlydressedwomanIusedtoseeorlookatonmywaytoworkeachmorning.A.MakeC.GiveD.Have[解析]本题掌握take…forexample这一固定搭配可知*为B(Take)。   ④. [例4]Whenthepaperswere,shediscoveredthattwelveboyshadmadeexactlythesamemistakesthroughoutthetest.A.examinedB.pletedC.markedD.answered[解析]本题考查动词辨义。 各个选项都有可能是正确*,迷惑项有较强的干扰*,因为该词可以构成考生比较熟悉的动宾搭配:examinedthepapers(审查试卷)、pletedthepapers(完成试卷)、markedthepapers(批阅试卷)、answeredthepapers(回答试卷)。 happyandgay;unhappyanddisappointed. ItwasoneofthemostsurprisingandtiringgamesI'veeverhad.WhenEdfirstphonedandweplay,Ilaughedquietly,figuringonaneasyvictory.……A.declaredB.mentionedC.persuadedD.suggested[解析]分析句子结构可看出weplay应为宾语从句,只有suggest后的宾语从句的谓语用should加动词原形,should省略。又如:(2004天津卷)Iwasleaving49severalgirlscampuptome.D.since[解析]“bedoing…when…” 所以选B.(when)。⑥. 表示逻辑关系的有:thus,therefore,so等;表示改变话题的有:bytheway等;表示递进关系的有besides,whatismore,further等;表示时间关系的有before,sofar,yet,meantime,meanwhile,now,later等等。 [例6](2004*卷)Whatlaughing42wehadaboutthe43respectablemethodformovingspaghettifromplatetomouth.44,Iwantedtowriteaboutthat,butIwantedto45itdownsimplyformyown46,notforMr.Fleagle,mypositionteacher.47,Iwouldwritesomethingelse.44.A.EspeciallyB.ProbablyC.SuddenlyD.Fortunately[解析]第44小题考查依据语篇标志语做出判断的能力。 [例7]Waitingabovethecrowdedstreets,ontopofabuilding110storieshigh,wasPhilippePetit.ThisdaringFrenchmanwasaboutto31atightrope(绷索)betweenthetwotowersoftheorldTradeCenter.D.fix[解析]考生如果对walk作及物动词的用法不是很熟悉,很难直接选出*。 例如过度强调makesb.dosth. [例8]IwasverythinwhenIstartedfootball,butasamemberofthisteamIwouldn’teatmuch,becauseIwasafraidofbeingtoo48torun.Ifearedmakingmistakes,andtheaddedpressurecausedmetomakemorethanmyusual49.48.A.fullB.tiredC.lazyD.big49.A.sizeB.shareC.spaceD.state[解析]第49小题前面提到makingmistakes(犯错)及makemore(犯更多错),根据意义应该找一个能代替错误的名词,本句句意并不是在讨论错误大小,size显然不对,它与more也不搭配;space(空间)、state(状态)都与错误没关系;B.share(份儿)可以表示在错误中所占比例,与前面的more联系起来,可以说明犯更多的错。 OnMay27,1995,ourlifewassuddenlychanged.Ithappenedafewminutespastthree,___1___myhusband,Chris,fellfromhishorseasit___2___overafence.Chriswasparalyzed(瘫痪)fromthechestdown,___3___tobreathenormally.Ashewasthrownfromhishorse,weenteredintoalifeof___4___withlotsofunexpectedchallenges(挑战).Wewentfromthe“haves”tothe“havenots”.Orsowethought.___5___whatwediscoveredlaterwereallthegiftsthatcameoutof___6__DIFFICULTIES.Wecametolearnthatsomething___7__couldhappeninadisaster(灾难).Alloverworldpeople___8___Chrissomuchthatlettersandpostcardspouredineveryday.Bytheendofthethirdweekina___9__centerinVirginia,about35,000piecesof___10__hadbeenreceivedandsorted.As___11___,weopenedletterafterletter.Theygaveus___12__andbecameasourceofstrengthforus.Weusedthemto__13___ourselves.Iwouldgotothepileoflettersmarkedwith“Funny”ifweneededa___14__,ortothe“Disabled”boxtofindadvicefrompeopleinwheelchairsor___15___inbedlivinghappilyand___16___.Theseletters,werealized,hadtobeshared.Andso___17__weofferoneofthemtoyou.DearChris,MyhusbandandIwheresosorrytohearofyour__18___accidentlastweek.Nodoubtyourfamilyandyourfriendsaregivingyouthestrengthtofacethis__19___challenge.Peopleeverywherearealsogivingyoubestwitheseverydayandweareamongthosewhoarekeepingyou___20__.…Yourssincerely,NancyReagan1.A.sinceB.beforeC.whenD.while2.A.walkedB.climbedC.pulledD.jumped3.A.ableB.unableC.suitableD.unsuitable4.A.disabilityB.possessionC.convenienceD.experience5.A.SoB.ForC.OrD.Yet6.A.sharin
